BEGIN:VCALENDAR VERSION:2.0 METHOD:PUBLISH CALSCALE:GREGORIAN BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART:20100910T000000 DTEND:20100912T000000 DTSTAMP:20100316T194559 SUMMARY:50 Year Reunion DESCRIPTION:Tau Delts who graduated in June of 1960 plan to return to Happy Valley for a 50th year reunion on the non-home football weekend beginning Friday, September 10th in 2010, and the members of that class invite the following Delts to join them: • Delts who are members of Tau Company • Tau Delts who graduated in 1970 (for their 40th year reunion), 1980 (for their 30th year reunion), 1990 (for their 20th year reunion), and 2000 (for their 10th year reunion) • All Delts who attended a previous reunion held at Toftrees approximately 4 years ago 25 rooms have been reserved at the Nittany Lion Inn. The cost per night is $119 plus tax (a two night stay is required). Free parking is available at the Inn with additional free parking at the University-owned garage to the left of the Inn. The Inn has agreed to let us use a large room in its basement where we can meet to watch the away game on Saturday, September 11th, between Penn State and Alabama (kick-off time is 3:30 PM). Hot and cold snacks will be available at a modest cost of about $15.00 per person, and a cash bar for beer, liquor, and wine will be provided for our pleasure. With alumni arriving at different times, no event (such as dinner) for Friday night has been planned, and it is suggested that the President of each returning graduated class arrange for a place to meet with other members of his particular class. Saturday morning is likewise unscheduled. A free lunch for all attending Delts will be held Saturday at noon at the Shelter (429 East Hamilton Avenue), then it’s back to the Inn for the televised football game with Alabama, along with drinks and snacks.
